I came in for an oil change and tire rotation on Saturday July 11th. I made an appointment online back in June. Somehow the appointment wasn’t showing. The service dept said there was nothing they could do and the next available appointment was three weeks away. I drove away not happy but decided to go inside to speak with my sales rep George(Skip) , he connected me with Colin Simmons and between the two of them they turned a negative situation into a positive experience. Great derive department. I have a 2022 Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid. SEL. I have 68000 miles on it. Also have Platinum Factory extended warranty. Recently I had a problem with the check engine light going on. Solid light. Brought it in to Castle Hyundai in Oak Lawn Illinois. They inspected it and informed me it was a bad ERG valve. This is an engine recirculation valve that is part of emissions system. This I was told is very labor intensive to fix . 10 hours estimated at 220 dollars an hour. Total estimate to repair 3400 dollars. I asked this should be covered under my platinum bumper to bumper warranty I purchased for 3000 dollars when I bought the car from them. They said no the warranty company said it is not normal wear and tear that caused failure. So I took it to Watson Family Hyundai in Tinley Park and they checked in with the warranty company and got the repair made for zero dollars.
