The world need more people like him. Secondly, He is always professional when I talk with him. Great employee from your service team, that have always gone over and beyond with customer service and satisfaction for me. Not once but every time my car needs servicing, I hope to have Tom guide me through what's best need to be done. Splash shield reinforced

Had my 75,000 mile maintenance completed. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The service specialist, Tom, was cordial and listened to all I had to say about what was happening with my car. I always get exceptional service at Family Hyundai. I check in and they give me an estimated time for work to be done. Usually they are on time but if there is a problem the sales rep. comes to the waiting room to let me know. Waiting room is very comfortable so it's never a problem. The service staff is great. They replaced the oil pressure switch which was under warranty. Only drawback was I had to wait 10 days to bring it in because they were so busy. But once I dropped it off it was repaired quickly. Very friendly & helpful service dept.

We are a three Hyundai family, all bought from Family Hyundai. Part of the reason was because we received great service with our first one. Every advisor we have had has been professional and a pleasure to work with. No high pressure up-sell for work we don’t need, we really appreciate that. We had a lot of problems with that across the street at the Honda dealer when we owned a Honda. Never again! We have re-located out of Tinley, but we will make the drive back here every time we need something for our vehicles. I was only in for routine service and Tom Salin was great to work with. From his greeting, to our conversation as he walked me to the cashier, he is genuine. I did not feel like a number, like in other service departments. A simple handshake and thanking me for coming in goes a long way in my book. Thanks Tom and the Family service department! 2011 Sonata engine failure

My engine seized well in a busy expressway in Chicago. I had my car towed to the dealership, because the tow driver informed me that this was a known issue. Tom in the service department did not inform me of the same, And asked for a $100 deposit for service. I was later told that this was part of the campaign and that they were aware of engine failure in this model. It angers me that this wasn’t dealt with before my car was incapacitated on a busy highway.It’s just disregard for me and my safety.

Lack of communicatiom

I scheduled to have my wife's car installed with a remote started. The person made it sound like a relatively quick service. When i dropped the car off at 730am again it was made to seem that this would be done in the afternoon. It took 1/2 hour to get a loaner car. I then called at 3pm to check on status. Was told person would call me back. Called again at 4pm and they couldn't find the person who was supposed to call me. Was called at 430 to be told that car would be done between 5pm and 8 pm. Called at 730 was told car was done for 20 minutes was just being washed. This was also the same day that a sign was up saying cars wouldn't be washed due to the cold. Finally got to the dealership after 8. Asked to speak to manager who blamed everyone else and told us no one else complained so why should we. This person also didn't acknowledge that they were the person who didnt call after 3 and 4. Started to get condescending with my wife. We were upset and explained all the ways we were misled. Did get a discount on the service but still felt lied to the entire day. Starter works ok and has made the car much louder when locking doors.

I have to give thumbs up to some of the people in sales and service I have worked with. Tom is personable, helpful and he knows his customers; Colin is also friendly and extremely helpful. Please disregard my previous review . My intent was to rate the product and not the personnel. My service experience with the personnel was excellent. My experience purchasing my 2020 Tucson was painless and very enjoyable. Every employee at the dealership did their part to make everything run smoothly during my time at the dealership. The delivery coordinator Amy was especially helpful and patient going over all the features on my new Tucson. At the end Amy invited me back for another lesson and I even got a hung. I was very impressed with the vehicle presentation at the time of delivery. In most business's the GM is no where to be found, but at Family Hyundai that is not the case. Not only was the GM Graham Watson available to assist me with my purchase, but I also received a loyalty discount for being a repeat customer. Outstanding service

I brought my 2019 Santa Fe in a for its first PM. I was notified by email the PM was due and Ricky made a follow up call for me as well to help set up the appointment. The service was outstanding. I was taken at the time the appointment was scheduled. Tom returned my vehicle, washed, vacuumed and ready to go. They also filled my windshield washer fluid. In addition, Al took the time to show me once again how to use my remote start. All of the employees welcome you when you enter and are kind and professional. He looked at my whole car to make sure he didn’t miss anything that needed attention. Worth the wait!

I stopped in after calling about low tire pressure I thought it was due to temperatures getting colder at night. I was assured my vehicle would be checked out as soon as possible. It took alittle time but it turned out I had a nail in one of my tires! My service Representative Collin informed me of the situation and it got fixed immediately! He thanked me for my patience and came back when the work was completed. I have the tire protection plan so the repair was covered! Everyone was very pleasant and that was very appreciated! Much needed service visit

I don't remember the person that took care of me, but I'm very happy he got me in as he told me they were booked for 2 weeks solid. I wouldn't have been able to drive my car around for 2 weeks with the bottom hanging off of it. I was surprised at the amount of the price, but didn't have a choice but to pay it. Was also in and out in a good amount of time also. I also don't like that I was harassed for about a week with a survey in my email daily.

Dream Car Secured

Went into Family Hyundai to look at a Sonata and we saw a preowned Genesis. It was just returned from a lease. It needed some work to get it to certified preowned status. The work was done and we picked it up a few days later however the trunk had a strange odor in it. When we pointed it out Al Pellizzeri stepped up and made sure the issue was taken care of. They needed the car for a couple of days but no worries because Al gave us a Genesis loaner. We were impressed by the commitment to take care of everything to our satisfaction, even on a preowned vehicle. Tom Salin the Genesis Service Advisor also was a great help when we had an issue with a road hazard in our tire after we had the car for a week. .

Quality service every time

I spoke with Tom Salin on Monday and he got me an appointment for Wednesday morning for an oil change. On Tuesday night my check engine light came on. Tom had service run diagnostics and clearly conveyed to me what the issue was. The check engine light went off yesterday but I am still planning on having the work done ... just not right at this moment. :) Tom is a great guy, tells it like it is, and accommodates me. He is a true asset to Family Hyundai!!!

Great Service!

I brought my car in on a Tuesday night. By Wednesday morning Tom had called me with a diagnosis and had me back on the road in my car later that afternoon. I have bought several cars from Family Hyundai and Graham, Al, Tom, Mayweather, and Colin have all been great to deal with! I would recommend joining the Family to anyone!

Always great service

15K check up great service as always. Service staff are always helpful and efficient. In the past the mechanics have helped me with a specific problem, creating a solution and thereby making my life easier. That solution was worked out on our 2013 Santa Fe Sport, so when we traded that in for a 2018 I made sure to have the new vehicle set up with the same feature. It was a special heavy duty plug and hook up for my husbands oxygen machine to run on the car as we travel East to West and North to South across the US. Thanks guys! This is why I always bring the car back to you to keep it in good operating shape.

I had great service getting my Hyundai Tuscan in for its regular maintenance check. The employee was very helpful and addressed my concern about my car only being a year old and it already had a headlight burned out. They tried to get the car completed in a reasonable amount of time! They have a great waiting room that has access to Wi-fi.

I love my dealer Family Hyundai. All of my maintenance has been done at Family Hyundai. The Service Department has been my partner for four years. They have worked with me as a co-laborer for all type of maintenance for my car. Some examples are my oil changes, brakes and all types of repairs. Each Service Representative greets you with a smile. My Service Representative on yesterday went the extra mile and provided outstanding service and outstanding recommendations. By way, his name is Michael Majchrowic. A man who cares about people and who loves to serve the customers of Family Hyundai. Many time we wait to promote people sometime when it is too late. Very Comfortable Environment

This was my first visit to Family Hyundai for recalls and I will be returning for service. I got processed it fast and the service rep was really nice. The waiting area was clean, comfortable and welcoming. They offered free coffee, donuts and Wi-Fi. I was maybe there for about 1 1/2- 2 hours. I will be back!!

I had a wonderful experience at Family Hyundai during this last service visit. They performed an oil change, replacement of my steering wheel coupler (which was still under warranty, and a recall on the engine software update was completed. I was so happy with their service and keeping me up to date on the completion of my car during the day. I'm especially happy that the steering wheel coupler was under warranty since it was an annoying sound happening in the cabin with every turn of the wheel. This fix has given me a new love for my 2013 Sonata. Thanks so much :)

The wait was long, which I expected, I didn’t have an appointment and planned on being there a bit. My problem with this particular visit was that only the front driver side of my car was vacuumed and my car was not washed. There was not a weather hazard stopping a wash.

Needed my air conditioner fixed. I was brought back home by a really nice man who courtesy drives. I was informed quickly with a call about what was wrong with my car and the total. When the part wasn't going to be fixed the next day because it wouldn't be there in time I received another call. Great communication with the service department.

Overall pleasant

The service person who checked me in (Colin) was very professional and pleasant. The air condition in my Santa Fe was not working properly, and was costly to repair. Colin was able to have my out of pocket expenses reduced due to a warranty factor. Waiting time for service at the dealer was rather long and I was provided with a loaner after having been there for some hours. Presently my vehicle is operating with no problems.
