I rarely write negative reviews, and I have intentionally waited until after exhausting every reasonable opportunity to work directly with the dealership before posting this. Over the past two years, I have been a consistent service customer at Family Hyundai. During that time, my vehicle underwent a complete engine replacement under Hyundai's warranty. I appreciated that the engine replacement was completed, and I have never disputed that the dealership performed that repair. My disappointment is not with the fact that repairs were made it is with what happened afterward and how my concerns were handled. Following the engine replacement, I continued experiencing issues with the vehicle, including overheating and other mechanical concerns. Rather than assuming something was wrong, I repeatedly returned to the dealership, described the symptoms, and asked if there was anything else that needed to be inspected or repaired. Whenever maintenance or repairs were recommended that were my responsibility, I approved them and paid for them. I was never looking for free repairs. I was looking for accurate diagnosis, thorough inspections, and honest guidance. Throughout this process, I remained patient and respectful with the service staff. I never raised my voice or became hostile. My expectation was simply that my concerns would receive the same level of attention that I gave to maintaining the vehicle. My final conversation with management was disappointing. Instead of discussing whether the recurring issues could be related to components surrounding the engine replacement or acknowledging that I had repeatedly brought concerns to the dealership, the discussion focused almost entirely on the vehicle's mileage, that the replacement engine warranty had expired, and that, in the manager's opinion, transmissions generally last around 100,000 miles. The overall message I received was that I now needed to "take responsibility" for the vehicle. What was missing from that conversation was any meaningful discussion of the concerns I had been reporting over time or any acknowledgment that I had consistently relied on the dealership's recommendations. I asked what needed to be done, authorized recommended work, and returned whenever something didn't seem right. I understand that vehicles wear out and that warranties have limits. I also understand that not every mechanical problem is the dealership's responsibility. However, I believe customers deserve more than a conversation centered solely on mileage and expired warranties after years of documented service visits and repeated reports of ongoing issues. I hope Family Hyundai takes this review as constructive feedback. My expectation was never perfection. It was accountability, thorough communication, and a willingness to fully investigate recurring concerns rather than simply pointing to the odometer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Family Hyaundai as a business, sales, finance, or service departments.

I love my new Kona! I’ve been a Nissan person for decades- my rogue was totaled and the resale was 1/4 what I paid 3 years ago- Time to try out something else- Family Hyndai was great- from test drive to driving away in a new Kona The salesman and finance man were both helpful and professional - treated me with respect ( sometimes you don’t get that, being a woman ) I’ve had the vehicle for about a month and love it! Reasonably priced as well!

Buying a car can be stressful, but not at Family Hyundai. Working with Giovanni Saldana was a stress free and a total pleasure. His knowledge of the vehicle was top notch and he's always available for follow up questions and assistance. This is the third Hyundai we've purchased and never considered going anywhere else. Al P. I had a flat tire that needed to be fixed. I was so grateful Travis Lampp was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule to accommodate me at the last moment. A flat tire may not sound important to some but I am the caregiver to my 95 year old mother and need a functional car.

My only issue was they charged a 3.5% fee for using my credit card which I don't have problem with except that I was not made aware of until I went to pay! Most people these days don't walk around with large amounts of cash or a check book unless they have reason to do so.Given that car repairs tend to be expensive they should tell you about this policy both when you schedule service and when you drop the car off so you can avoid this extra cost which could be significant by bringing cash or a check. This is any easy issue to fix for them and I will be watching to see if they do so the next time without me having to remember.

She checked went to check on the car. Then she came back and someone came up and handed her a paper. She said it was for my car. So they hadn't even started on it after 2 hours!! Meanwhile, people who came in way after me already left so it's not because they were that backed up. They obviously just forgot about it. If you don't want to spend 2 and a half hours waiting for a simple oil change don't go here. It's not the first time I've waited a long time at this place either but this was the longest. They're terrible.

I was a very interested buyer. I had done my research. The salesman was helpful from the 1st moment until we completed the purchase. About a day later one thing popped up. As I went through the trunk area and the area where the safety kit was located, I came across a package related to a hitch. Not only was I unaware of this, apparently my wife and I hadn't noticed a hitch on the rear of the vehicle, but I found I was charged over $500 for this little package. I purchased a Tucson Hybrid. Not exactly a towing machine. Also, I've never towed anything nor did I request a hitch. I'm trying to contact someone with the dealer who will refund this amount and take the hitch package. Seems to me, "someone" might want to use it.
