There’s been one “North Star” if you will, when it comes to my family, and purchasing cars - and that would be Family Hyundai. Since roughly 2011, four members of my family/extended family have had great experiences - and repeat experiences - at this location, service department or sales. Most recently, Ricky Gushi and Maverick Watson took care/guided me through the process of turning around one lease and then starting a brand new one, with a 2026 Elantra. I honestly went in to compare numbers with Ricky, test drive the 2026…and then take a few days to make a final decision. What happened instead? Ricky and I both leave, a few hours later, exchanging a hug, laughing…and I drive off with the 2026 Elantra (no doubt about it). This is the second time Ricky Gushi has helped me lease a Hyundai - and honestly, he would be the #1 person I could recommend any friends or family to work with. Top Notch.

Came in to see Carlos to buy an Elantra N and had a an amazing experience. Greeted right away at the door and felt welcome by all Staff. Brought my 2025 Tucson in a second time for the same dash issue. Danette put me in a loaner vehicle so I had something to drive and could continue going to work. The service dept ordered the needed part, and installed it promptly. Danette was very efficient in contacting me with updates on where they were at regarding the repairs and when it would be complete.

I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from Family Hyundai on 3/27/26. Three months later, the engine had a catastrophic failure requiring it to be replaced. I called the Sales Specialist Jose Palomares and did not receive a return call. An email to Mr. Palomares and did not receive a response. Went to the Family Hyundai website to advise of the situation but received no response. I only received a response when I called again. I was then advised by a service manager that the engine was covered under Hyundai's warranty and that I could take the vehicle to any Hyundai dealership for it to be replaced. I had the vehicle taken to a closer Hyundai dealership and they advised that the engine would not be replaced and referred me to Hyundai Corporate for resolution. I called and spoke with a sales manager at Family Hyundai (he refused to provide his last name - said to look it up on the website) and he advised that Family Hyundai's responsibility ended as soon as the vehicle was driven off its lot. My efforts to further discuss this ended when he terminated the conversation by hanging up on me. When I purchased the vehicle from Family Hyundai, Family Hyundai did not inform me that Hyundai issued a recall for this vehicle model due to problems with the engine that caused engine failure. Had Hyundai informed me of this problem, I would not have purchased the vehicle. I have attempted to discuss this matter with Family Hyundai but was hung up on. I can find no email addresses to communicate additional details of this matter.
